Scene I:
Swarthmore College: College in Pennsylvania. It's close to residents near Philadelphia.
Quinoa: a gluten-free grain which can be used as a rice substitute
Scene III:
Dissonance: Lack of harmony among musical notes
BMT: Italian classic is filled with Genoa salami, spicy pepperoni, and Black Forest Ham.
Jowls: The lower part of a person's or animal's cheek, especially when it is fleshy or drooping.
Scene IV:
MBA: Masters of Business Administration
CFO: Chief Financial Officer.
HR: Human Resources
Eight Ball: 1/8th ounce of cocaine (approximately 3.5 grams).
Purging: rid (someone) of an unwanted feeling, memory, or condition, typically giving a sense of cathartic release.
Scene V:
Chancletas (Chancla): Slippers.
"Ay dios mio! Ay! Ay!": Translation: "Oh my god!"
El Yunque: A tropical rainforest located in northeastern Puerto Rico

Tercel: A type of car.
GS-4: Government job that stands for General Schedule-4
