The document of the left is a research paper about the general idea of crack cocaine. Please be advised that although some characters are on crack, crack is cocaine. It is in the solid form with an added base. |
Signs/Symptoms of Crack Cocaine |
Crack cocaine is a stimulant, which means it energizes parts of the body and places stress on the heart, lungs, and the brain. When smoked, the muscles tense up and the heart beats faster, releasing dopamine (a reward) in your body. However, this can lead to cardiac arrest or even heart attack since the blood vessels constrict.
Chronic crack cocaine addicts tend to have dilated pupils, dry mouth, and mood swings. Sweating and a loss of appetite can also be a symptom. Smoking too much crack can lead to an increase in body temperature which can cause hallucinations and convulsions. There may be some confusion or deliriousness that requires hospitalization. It is important to know that if not treated, death can be a result. |
Signs/Symptoms of PTSD |
Post Tramatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) symptoms can be categorized into four different types: Intrusive, Avoidance, Negativity, and Emotional.
